  3. Dear Mary,

As I was just responding to your letter of july I decided to go to your website as you suggested and what a delightful time I had looking at all the lovely photos of the layout of the store and all the items that you have in there. Wow. It was also interesting read about St. Helena. Just a comment, It would be nice if there was a little personal history as to how you and your partner got started. Thanks for giving me your website address and allowing me an opportunity to see more of what you have talked and shared before. Congratulations on such a wonderul place and venue for local artists. It must give you great pleasure. Ta Ta for now, Jane

  5. Oh wait. Yes, I have. I’m sorry, but I just don’t have it in me right now to type it all out again. Besides, it was just ramblings anyway. You didn’t want to hear me go on and on about this, right?

  12. My family has been visiting the Beaufort area for the past 15 years. My husband and I honeymooned on Harbor Island in 1997. On every visit we make at least one trip (but usually several) to the Red Piano. We have made a habit of buying a piece of local art on every trip we take, as a souvenier of our vacation. We are ALWAYS so very pleased with The Red Piano, Too. They represent extremely talented artists in every medium imaginable (and a few I hadn’t imagined!). It is not unusual to meet these artists at the gallery, not just for “events”, but just stopping in to visit. The staff is extremely knowledgable about all of the artists and their work and they are always available to answer any questions we may have, without “hovering”. I have shopped in many galleries, but this is my favorite! If you are in the area, you don’t want to miss it!

  19. Dear Mrs. Mack,
Thank you very much for the tour of your wonderful cultual museum. We were visiting St.Helena to attand the graduation of my nephew into the US.Marine. On our free days whe were blessed to find the Penn School and You.
Thank you for the books, Gullah Bible and history lesson about St. Helena. After reading your brothers book, I realize “what a gift it is to be patience” and to have faith in YHWH(JESUS), who can change all situations.

In my humble travels throughout the Caribbean, I also realise the Gullah speach is closest to the Jamaican language. Please give our best regards to Pearce Hammond and also thank him for the artistic tour!!
    Loving Kindness,
